Security
1. Insurance
An autonomous branch must hold a civil liability insurance policy with regards to its activities, its administrators and the instructors who teach there. The policy must include the “The Hari Society” as an additional insured organization for the relevant clauses in order to cover guest instructors or during seminars.
2. Hari tools
The branch’s chief instructor or the instructor responsible for teaching in the branch must verify the quality of the tools used by their students. He must neither tolerate nor accept a tool that does not offer the best manufacturing, or security warranties. Tools that show characteristics that may jeopardize the security of other practitioners must not be used to practice the art.
3. Space
At all times, the instructor must make sure each student has a minimum safe space to practice.
4. Behavior
The instructor must make sure students practice in a safe manner and follow his directions. A student who violates those directions must be informed of the rules of discipline. If he refuses to comply he must be asked to stop practicing and to leave the premises. By Law number 5 (Role no 5)
5. Teaching
The branch’s chief instructor must make sure all subordinate instructors respect and apply the security rules in place.
6. Emergency
A responsible branch should have a first aid kit. Emergency procedures as well as the relevant emergency phone numbers should be posted in a place that is visible and known to every practitioner.
